Yahoo! Sues Facebook for violation of a dozen patents
The multinational Internet Yahoo! today sued in a court of California to Facebook for violation of ten patents, including the operation of systems of privacy or publicity, according to the text of the complaint.
“Yahoo! has invested substantial resources in research and development over the years, which has resulted in numerous inventions patented technology that other companies have been acquired under license. Unfortunately, the problems remain unsolved Facebook,” said Yahoo! said in a statement.
Demand compile a set of technologies that Yahoo! claims of his invention and believes that Facebook used without their consent, as the presentation of personalized information, messaging service, systems of privacy or publicity, key parts of the largest social networking site.
Yahoo! had already warned that Facebook was using his invention technology without permission and planned to file a lawsuit on patent violation.
