Airbus CEO sees higher 2010 orders -paper

DUBAI, Oct 27 (BestGrowthStock) – European planemaker Airbus
(EAD.PA: ) has revised its expected orders to 400 from 300
aircraft for the current year, its chief executive said in an
interview with pan-Arab daily al-Hayat.

Tom Enders said the company, whose main rival is Boeing Co
(BA.N: ), had reviewed the number of orders it expects as it sees
an end to the crisis that hit the aircraft sector.

“The crisis could have been more stressful for us if we
hadn’t achieved steady growth in Asia,” he said.

Enders also said he saw China as its main future competitor.

“China will become the first in the world in civilian
aircraft in the future with a plane that will compete with the
A-320 by 2016,”he said.
