Autogrill signs $100 mln airport deal in the U.S.

* To operate four new points of sale in eight years

* Continues expansion in the United States

MILAN, May 25 (BestGrowthStock) – Italian catering giant Autogrill
(AGL.MI: ) said it won a $100 million contract to provide new food
and beverage services at the Miami, Florida international
airport.

The contract runs for eight years, the company said in a
statement on Tuesday.

Under the terms of the agreement, Autogrill will operate
through its American subsidiary HMSHost four new points of sale,
which are expected to generate revenues in excess of 100 million
dollars for the contract life.

The first new points of sale will be open by late summer
2010, Autogrill said. The company already operates 10 stores at
the Miami airport.

With 34 million passengers in 2009, Miami International
Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world.

Autogrill has said second-quarter sales were hit by airport
disruption caused by volcanic ash from Iceland but it confirmed
full-year guidance. [ID:nLDE64A1AY]
