Boeing raises Iran in tanker battle with EADS

WASHINGTON, May 25 (BestGrowthStock) – Boeing Co (BA.N: ) accused
Europe’s EADS (EAD.PA: ) of having sought to do business with
Iran, sharpening their campaign for a potential $50 billion
U.S. Air Force refueling plane contract.

EADS North America’s parent company “continues to do
business with countries that are not friendly to the United
States,” Timothy Keating, Boeing’s vice president of government
operations, told a small group of reporters.

He cited what he called an EADS effort to market one or
more of its products at an air show in Tehran.

Along with other Boeing executives, he urged U.S. officials
to factor national security into the competition to acquire a
new fleet of Air Force tankers, used to refuel warplanes during
flight.
