BofA Merrill India capital markets head quits-sources

MUMBAI/SINGAPORE, March 4 (Reuters) – Bank of
America-Merrill Lynch’s (BAC.N: Quote, Profile, Research) global capital markets head in
India is leaving the bank to join a private-equity firm, two
sources with direct knowledge of the development told Reuters
on Friday.

Saurabh Sonthalia had joined Bank of America-Merrill Lynch
in 2009, said the sources, declining to be named as the
information was not public. Sonthalia and officials at the bank
could not immediately be reached for comment.
