Bookies see Europe stocks rising after stress tests

PARIS, July 26 (BestGrowthStock) – Financial bookmakers expected to
see the leading European benchmark indexes rising on Monday
following the results of the region’s stress tests on banks.

Financial spreadbetters expected Britain’s FTSE 100 (.FTSE: )
to open 30 to 44 points higher, or as much as 0.8 percent,
Germany’s DAX (.GDAXI: ) to open 25 to 48 points higher, or as
much as 0.8 percent, and France’s CAC-40 (.FCHI: ) to open 23 to
37 points higher, or as much as 1 percent.

Only seven of 91 banks — five small Spanish banks,
Germany’s state-rescued Hypo Real Estate [HRXGe.UL] and Greece’s
ATEbank (AGBr.AT: ) — failed the tests, for an overall capital
shortfall of $3.5 billion euros.
