Brazil’s Rousseff maintains lead in Ibope poll

BRASILIA, Oct 30 (BestGrowthStock) – Brazilian ruling party
candidate Dilma Rousseff maintained her lead over opposition
challenger Jose Serra ahead of a presidential runoff vote on
Sunday, a third opinion poll showed on Saturday.

Rousseff had 52 percent of voter support in the survey by
polling firm Ibope, compared with Serra’s 40 percent.

The last Ibope poll on Thursday showed Rousseff with 52
percent and Serra with 39 percent.

The latest poll, commissioned by the Estado de Sao Paulo
newspaper, surveyed 3,010 people between Oct. 27 and Oct. 30
and had a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
