Brazil’s Votorantim to sell global dollar notes

SAO PAULO, Feb 3 (BestGrowthStock) – Brazilian lender Banco
Votorantim plans to sell dollar-denominated bonds in global
debt markets in the coming days for general corporate purposes,
according to a person with direct knowledge of the
transaction.

Sao Paulo-based Votorantim will offer three-year senior
unsecured notes but still is undecided on the size of the sale,
said the person, who declined to be quoted because the deal is
in the works.

The bonds are likely to be rated Baa2 by Moody’s Investors
Service, the second-lowest investment grade rating, according
to the person. The bank hired BB Securities, BNP Paribas, Banco
Bradesco and UBS to manage the sale.
