Canada revisions show bigger Dec job losses

OTTAWA, Jan 29 (BestGrowthStock) – Canadian employers shed 28,300
workers in December, not 2,600 as previously estimated, a
Statistics Canada official said on Friday after the federal
agency revised its labor force survey data.

The unemployment rate fell to 8.4 percent in December
whereas Statscan had previously reported the rate was unchanged
from November at 8.5 percent.

The federal agency revised all of its historical data using
