CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends down on choppy commodities, data

TORONTO, March 24 (Reuters) – Toronto’s main stock index
closed lower on Thursday as volatile commodity prices and mixed
U.S. economic data spurred a retreat from the previous
session’s rally.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index
(.GSPTSE: Quote, Profile, Research) unofficially closed down 57.81 points, or 0.41
percent, at 14,029.37.
