CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends lower as resources tumble

TORONTO, Oct 19 (BestGrowthStock) – Toronto’s main stock index hit
a one-week low on Tuesday with its heavyweight resource sectors
declining most on China’s unexpected rate hike, which took the
edge off global risk appetite.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index
(.GSPTSE: ) fell 97.46 points, or 0.77 percent, to unofficially
close at 12,570.55. It was down more than 1 percent earlier.
