CANADA STOCKS-TSX ends sharply lower as commodities drop

TORONTO, April 11 (Reuters) – Toronto’s main stock index
ened sharply lower on Monday in a broad decline led by energy
and materials shares, which fell with commodity prices.

The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index
(.GSPTSE: Quote, Profile, Research) unofficially closed down 211.57 points, or 1.49
percent, at 13,996.86.
