TORONTO, Feb 4 (BestGrowthStock) – Toronto’s main stock market
index fell sharply at the open on Thursday, hurt by weaker
commodity prices and an unexpected rise in U.S. weekly jobless
claims.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index
(.GSPTSE: ) was down 114.12 points, or 1 percent, at 11,276.34,
shortly after the open.
