SINGAPORE, Sept 1 (BestGrowthStock) – JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N: )
has appointed Ray Eyles to head its commodities business in the
Asia Pacific, replacing existing chief executive Oral Dawe,
three industry sources said on Wednesday.

Eyles was formerly the head of Global Commodities Strategic
Trading in London.

Dawe was also the Asia-Pacific managing director at
JPMorgan.

On Tuesday, a person briefed on the matter told Reuters
that JPMorgan Chase had shut down its proprietary trading desk,
as the bank looks to comply with new U.S. banking laws.

The sources said Blythe Masters, the bank’s head of global
commodities, held a townhall meeting in Singapore on Wednesday
to announce the changes.
