Delay of EU aid to cause no cash problem – Greece

ATHENS, Nov 17 (BestGrowthStock) – Greece said it will face no cash
problems from a delay by the European Union to pay its part of
the third tranche of a bailout loan to the debt-ridden euro zone
member.

“Regarding the payment of the third tranche coming from euro
zone countries… the process requires at least ten working days
and for this reason the disbursement will be completed in early
January,” the Greek finance ministry said.

“This has been agreed a long time ago with the European
Commission and creates no cash problem at all for our country,”
it added.

Greece was due to get 9 billion euros in EU and IMF loans in
December as part of a 110 billion euro bailout to stave off
bankruptcy.
