Dollar index hits 11-month low; NZ dlr surges

LONDON, Nov 4 (BestGrowthStock) – The dollar hit an 11-month low
against a currency basket on Thursday after the U.S. Federal
Reserve launched a new bout of quantitative easing the previous
day and investors chased higher-yielding currencies.

The dollar index (Read more about the global trade. ), which tracks the performance of the
greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, fell to
76.118, its lowest since last December (.DXY: ).

The New Zealand dollar surged to $0.7882, its highest since
mid-2008.
