Dublin airport closed until 1100 GMT Monday – IAA

DUBLIN (BestGrowthStock) – Dublin airport will remain closed until at least 8 a.m. EDT (1100 GMT) on Monday due to the fresh volcanic ash cloud drifting from Iceland, the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) said on Sunday.

Western airports Sligo and Ireland West (Knock), shut earlier on Sunday, will re-open at 4 a.m. EDT (0800 GMT), the IAA said, adding that Donegal airport would be closed until at least 1100 GMT. Cork, Shannon and Kerry remain open until further notice.

“North Atlantic overflights through Irish-controlled airspace remain unaffected,” the IAA said in a statement.
