Euro at 10-week low, sterling at 2-mth trough vs dlr

LONDON, Nov 30 (BestGrowthStock) – The euro fell (Read more about the trembling euro. ) to a fresh 10-week
low against the dollar on Tuesday as selling in the single
currency accelerated on euro zone contagion fears with traders
saying option barriers at $1.3050 were broken.

Traders said widening peripheral debt spreads, continued
reliance of euro zone banks on funding from the ECB and selling
by some large funds saw the euro slide. The euro (EUR=: ) fell to
as low as $1.3049, down 0.5 percent on the day.

Sterling (GBP=D4: ) also fell to a two-month low against the
dollar. It dropped to as low as $1.5514, down nearly 0.4 percent
on the day.
