Euro cuts losses, Bunds fall after German ZEW

LONDON, Oct 19 (BestGrowthStock) – The euro cut losses against the
dollar while German Bund futures hit a session low on Tuesday
after an above-forecast German ZEW sentiment survey.

The ZEW institute said German economic growth remained
robust as it reported its economic sentiment index at -7.2 in
October, down from -4.3 in September but better than forecasts
for -8.0. [ID:nDEP003367]

The euro (EUR=: ) rose around 35 pips versus the dollar to
trade flat on the day at $1.3945 after the data.

Bund futures (FGBLc1: ) fell to a session low of 130.36, down
20 ticks on the day.

Traders had earlier reported talk of a worse-than-expected
reading.
