Euro extends losses, falls 1 pct on day vs yen

LONDON, Nov 30 (BestGrowthStock) – The euro fell (Read more about the trembling euro. ) 1 percent against
the yen on Tuesday, extending broad losses on mounting concerns
that debt problems plaguing some euro zone countries may spread
to others.

The euro (EURJPY=R: ) fell as low as 109.35 yen, its weakest
since mid-September. The single currency struggled broadly,
sinking as low as $1.3008 (EUR=: ), its weakest in more than 10
weeks.

Traders said selling by a U.S. investment bank was helping
to push the euro lower against the dollar, while big barriers
were seen at $1.3000.
