Euro extends losses vs dollar, hits 6-mth low

LONDON, Jan 27 (BestGrowthStock) – The euro hit a six-month low
against a broadly firmer dollar on Wednesday as investors
continued to shun risk on jitters about China and ahead of a
Federal Reserve policy announcement later.

The euro fell (Read more about the trembling euro. ) to a low of $1.4022 (EUR=: ) according to
Reuters data, its weakest since the end of July. At 0854 GMT it
was down 0.3 percent on the day at $1.4032.

Ongoing concerns about the fiscal health of Greece and some
other euro zone countries also weighed on the euro.
