Europe shares fall 1 pct on sovereign debt worries

LONDON, May 21 (BestGrowthStock) – European shares extended losses
in early trading on Friday, led lower by banking and mining
stocks, on persistent concerns about the euro zone sovereign
debt situation and tougher financial regulations.

At 0728 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 (.FTEU3: ) index of top
European shares was down 1 percent at 965.38 points after
falling about 5 percent in the previous two sessions.
