European shares seen lower – bookies

LONDON, April 12 (Reuters) – European shares were set to
fall on Tuesday as Asian markets drop after Japan raised the
severity of its nuclear crisis to the highest level, putting it
on par with the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.

Financial spreadbetters expected Britain’s FTSE 100 (.FTSE: Quote, Profile, Research)
to open down 30 to 34 points or 0.6 percent, Germany’s DAX
(.GDAXI: Quote, Profile, Research) to open down 43 to 45 points or 0.6 percent and
France’s CAC-40 (.FCHI: Quote, Profile, Research) to open down 32 points or 0.8 percent.
