European stock futures point to lower open

LONDON, May 6 (BestGrowthStock) – European stock index (Read more about the euro currency recovery. ) futures fell
on Thursday, indicating a weaker start for equities after steep
declines in the previous two sessions, with concerns mounting
that euro zone debt problems could spread.

By 0606 GMT, futures for STOXX Europe 50 (STXEc1: ), Germany’s
DAX (FDXc1: ) and France’s CAC 40 (FCEc1: ) were down 0.1 to 0.4
percent.

European stocks closed lower on Wednesday, with the
FTSEurofirst 300 (.FTEU3: ) index of top shares closing 1 percent
lower, ending at a two-month low for a second straight session.
