European stock index futures point to lower open

PARIS, July 22 (BestGrowthStock) – European stock index (Read more about the euro currency recovery. ) futures
pointed to a lower start on Thursday, as stocks were poised to
track losses on Wall Street after downbeat comments from Federal
Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on the U.S. economic recovery.

By 0601 GMT, futures for the STOXX Europe 50 (STXEc1: ), for
Germany’s DAX (FDXc1: ) and for France’s CAC (FCEc1: ) were down
0.5-0.8 percent.
