in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives raised tens of
millions of dollars in campaign funds during the first quarter
of 2010 as they prepared for November’s congressional election

Federal Election Commission disclosure statements filed late
last week. Data on the Senate races were provided by the
campaign committees.
