(BestGrowthStock) – The top U.S. futures market regulator will hold a hearing on Thursday to consider whether position limits are needed for metals futures such as gold, silver and copper.
The day-long hearing will feature more than 15 speakers, including traders, exchanges and individual investors.
The chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has pushed to crack down on concentration in markets, beginning with a proposal made in January to limit speculation in energy markets, now out for public comment.
