Foxconn considers investing $12 billion in Brazil: Rousseff

BEIJING (Reuters) – Taiwan’s electronics giant Foxconn (2038.HK: Quote, Profile, Research) is considering investing $12 billion in Brazil to assemble monitors, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff said on Tuesday.

The Brazilian government is studying Foxconn’s investment plan, she also told reporters during a visit to Beijing, following her summit with Chinese President Hu Jintao and the signing of other investment and trade deals.
