GenMark IPO price range cut 28 pct-underwriter

NEW YORK, May 27 (BestGrowthStock) – Molecular diagnostics company
GenMark Diagnostics Inc cut the expected price range of its
initial public offering by 27.8 percent on Thursday, according
to an underwriter.

The company now plans to sell 4.5 million shares for $6 to
$7 each. It had originally planned to sell shares for $8 to $10
each.

The underwriter also said that GenMark’s IPO should price
after the close of the market on Thursday. It was expected this
week but no date had previously been set. The stock is expected
to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “GNMK” (GNMK.O: ).
