German 2010 new borrowing seen at 70 bln eur-sources

BERLIN, June 3 (BestGrowthStock) – Germany’s finance ministry
expects federal net new borrowing to total some 70 billion euros
this year, roughly 10 billion less than previously forecast,
officials in the ruling coalition told Reuters on Thursday.

The government faces less of a challenge than previously
thought to consolidate its finances both this year and over the
mid-term, Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said on Wednesday.
