The struggling soft drink maker signed a letter of intent
to be acquired by Reeds Inc (REED.O: ) in a cash-and-stock deal

CERUS CORP (CERS.O: ), $2.67, up 13 pct

Robert W. Baird upgraded the blood safety products maker to
“outperform” from “neutral,” and said the market is
undervaluing the company’s Intercept red blood cell system.


The company on Monday said it will offer common shares to
raise $300 million partly to support future acquisitions,
including FDIC-assisted acquisition transactions or to pay back

AGFEED INDUSTRIES INC (FEED.O: ), $5.30, up 18 pct

The company reported better-than-expected full-year
earnings helped by increased production volumes in the
company’s hog division and animal nutrition divisions.

MICROVISION INC (MVIS.O: ), $2.55, down 10 pct

The portable projector maker on Monday posted a narrower
quarterly loss that was in line with analysts’ view, but

IMMUNOGEN INC (IMGN.O: ), $7.68, up 4 pct

The drugmaker said on Monday its experimental skin cancer
drug received orphan drug designation from U.S. and European

EXELIXIS INC (EXEL.O: ), $6.81, Monday’s close

The cancer drug developer posted a quarterly loss in line
with market expectations, and forecast a full-year revenue

MATRIXX INITIATIVES (MTXX.O: ), $4.87, Monday’s close

The pharmaceuticals company said U.S. health regulators
declined to withdraw the warning letter on the company’s nasal
