Hydro Quebec sells C$500 mln 40-yr bonds in reopen

NEW YORK, Oct 14 (BestGrowthStock) – Hydro Quebec [QBEC.UL] on
Thursday sold C$500 million ($500 million) in a reopening of
existing 40-year bonds, according to a term sheet seen by
Reuters.

The 5.00 percent bonds will mature on Feb. 15, 2050, and
were priced at 113.4880 to yield 4.287 percent or 84 basis
points over the Canadian government benchmark.

The total outstanding amount is now C$3.5 billion ($3.5
billion).

The lead manager on the sale was National Bank of Canada.
