TOKYO, Dec 6 (BestGrowthStock) – Japan’s government should consider
changing the law to devote sales tax revenue to welfare spending
because it is an important way to fund future welfare costs, the
ruling Democratic Party said on Monday.

The Democrats also said the government must stick with its
new debt issuance and spending caps for the budget for fiscal
2011/12, starting next April, to maintain fiscal discipline,
according to a proposal Democrat lawmakers submitted to the
government earlier on Monday.
