Japan June wholesale prices rise 0.5 pct yr/yr

TOKYO, July 12 (BestGrowthStock) – Japanese wholesale prices rose 0.5
percent in the year to June, Bank of Japan data showed on Monday,
less than the median forecast for a 0.6 percent annual rise.

The rise followed a revised 0.5 percent increase in May.

Overall final goods prices — the prices of finished products
charged to businesses — fell 1.5 percent in June from a year
earlier.

Domestic final goods prices, which loosely track the consumer
price index, fell 1.1 percent in June from a year earlier.

economists’ median forecast in parentheses; previous figures may
be revised):
