TOKYO, April 16 (BestGrowthStock) – Japanese Finance Minister Naoto
Kan said on Friday that Japan has no immediate requests regarding
China’s currency policy as there aren’t large trade imbalances
between the two countries.

Kan, speaking at a news conference, also said it would be
difficult for companies to pass rising commodity prices onto
consumers due to the large output gap.

Earlier on Friday Japan’s government kept its overall
economic assessment unchanged in a monthly report, while
reiterating that deflation posed a risk and calling on the Bank
of Japan to support the economy.
