Japan PM: fiscal restoration not gone far enough

TOKYO, Dec 24 (BestGrowthStock) – Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan
said on Friday that efforts for fiscal restoration have not gone
far enough in Japan and he wants to set the direction for the
next two or three years after the New Year.

Japan’s government approved a record draft budget on Friday
but stuck to its caps for new bond issuance and spending as it

“I do not think that fiscal restoration has gone far enough. I
would like to speak to the people on this issue after the New
Year as I set the direction looking at the next two, three
years,” Kan said in an interview with the Yomiuri newspaper and
Jiji news agency.
