KLM cancels all European flights on Sunday

AMSTERDAM, April 18 (BestGrowthStock) – Dutch airline KLM (AIRF.PA: )
said it had cancelled all its European flights to and from
Amsterdam airport on Sunday and its intercontinental flights
until at least 1800 GMT because of the volcanic ash cloud.

KLM’s intercontinental flights to Amsterdam airport are
cancelled for the whole of Sunday, and intercontinental flights
from Amsterdam are cancelled until at least 1800 GMT on Sunday,
KLM said in a statement.

The transport ministry said earlier that Dutch airspace
would remain closed at least until 1200 GMT on Sunday, and it is
expected to give an update soon.
