Lipper Snaps US-Monteagle tops U.S. bond funds in Jan.

BOSTON, Feb 3 (BestGrowthStock) – An intermediate-term bond fund managed by
Nashville Capital Corp was the top performer among U.S.-registered bond funds
in January, data from Thomson Reuters fund research firm Lipper showed on
Wednesday.

Monteagle Fixed Income (LP40049682: ), managed by Vincent Russo, Robert
Prorok and Craig Cairns, returned 4.88 percent over the month, beating an
average 1.00 percent gain for U.S.-registered bond funds tracked by Lipper.

The fund, managing $36.50 million at the end of January, is up 8.49 percent
over the past 12 months. By comparison, U.S.-registered bond funds have posted
an average 15.17 percent gain.
