Man accused in NY car bomb case to appear in court

NEW YORK, May 4 (BestGrowthStock) – A man accused of driving a
failed car bomb into New York’s Times Square will appear in
Manhattan federal court later on Tuesday, authorities said.

Faisal Shahzad, a U.S. citizen who was born in Pakistan,
was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on Monday (0345 GMT) at John F.
Kennedy in New York as he tried to board a flight to Dubai,
U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara and New York Police Commissioner
Ray Kelly said in a statement.

Shahzad will be presented on “formal charges,” but no
further details were given.
