New Brazilian poll shows Rousseff widening lead

BRASILIA, Oct 20 (BestGrowthStock) – Brazil’s ruling party
candidate Dilma Rousseff has widened her lead over opposition
challenger Jose Serra ahead of a presidential runoff vote on
Oct. 31, an opinion poll showed on Wednesday.

Rousseff had 51 percent of voter support in the survey by
polling firm Ibope, which was published by Estado de Sao
Paulo’s online news service. Serra had 40 percent in the poll.

The last Ibope poll on Oct. 13 showed Rousseff with 49
percent of voter support and Serra with 43 percent.
