Nikkei at lowest close in 3 wks, profit-taking weighs

TOKYO, April 16 (BestGrowthStock) – Japan’s Nikkei average lost 1.5
percent on Friday for its lowest close in nearly three weeks,
with sentiment hit as investors were unimpressed by Google’s
(GOOG.O: ) results and as a stronger yen set off profit-taking.

Trading houses such as Mitsubishi Corp (8058.T: ) also fell,
hit by oil’s slide below $85, adding to losses the previous day
when a firmer dollar and mixed economic data sapped sentiment.
