Nikkei gains 0.9 pct on blue-chips after JPMorgan

TOKYO, April 15 (BestGrowthStock) – Japan’s Nikkei average rose 0.9
percent on Thursday, lifted by exporters such as Canon Inc
(7751.T: ) after stronger-than-expected corporate results from
companies such as JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N: ) boosted Wall
Street.

The benchmark Nikkei (.N225: ) rose 105.17 points to 11,310.07.
It rose 0.4 percent the previous day, helped by gains in
chip-linked exporters after Intel’s results, which came after the
bell on Tuesday on Wall Street.

The broader Topix (.TOPX: ) added 0.9 percent to 999.54.
