SAN FRANCISCO, April 30 (BestGrowthStock) – The U.S. Geological
Survey accidentally reported an earthquake in Northern
California because scientists did not review an automated
alert, a geophysicist said on Friday.
The USGS system had reported a magnitude 5.0 quake near the
Napa region on Friday afternoon, but geophysicist Paul Caruso
later said there had been no quake.
