Obama: Jobs data shows economy stronger

LANDOVER, Md., April 1 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama
said on Friday the U.S. economy is showing real strength after
a positive jobs report for March that he said was good news.

Speaking at a UPS shipping facility, Obama said much work
remains to get millions of Americans back to work, after the
Labor Department reported a drop in the jobless rate to 8.8
percent, a two-year low.

“Our economy is showing signs of real strength,” Obama
said.
