Obama: U.S. must build on economic momentum

MIAMI, March 4 (Reuters) – President Barack Obama said on
Friday February jobs figures showed progress in the U.S.
economy and said the country needed to “keep building on that
momentum.”

The Labor Department reported U.S. employers hired workers
at the fastest pace in nine months in February and the jobless
rate slipped to a nearly two-year low of 8.9 percent, showing
the economy is finally kicking into a higher gear.
