Ontex IPO could be put back to second half-paper

* Diaper-maker could float in Brussels in second half-paper

* IPO had been seen for June, could raise up to 500 mln eur

BRUSSELS, May 28 (BestGrowthStock) – Belgian diaper and wet wipe
maker Ontex, which competes with Procter & Gamble’s (PG.N: )
Pampers, could delay a planned flotation until the second half
of the year, daily De Tijd reported on Friday.

The up to 500 million euros ($612.5 million) flotation had
been expected in June [ID:nLDE6440IR], but the plans have been
put back until the second half after the continued volatility in
the financial markets, the paper says, without specifying where
it got the information.

Private equity house Candover (CDI.L: ), which owns Ontex, was
not immediately available for comment.
