Ouattara government says opens Ivorian air border only

ABIDJAN (Reuters) – Alassane Ouattara’s government said on Friday that it had re-opened Ivory Coast’s air border but land and sea borders remained closed.

The statement was made by the Interior Ministry after Ouattara’s administration ordered the closing of borders on Thursday amid heavy fighting between his forces and those loyal to incumbent leader Laurent Gbagbo.
