PREVIEW-Mexico July trade deficit seen at $708 mln

WHAT: Mexico trade balance in July

WHEN: Tuesday, Aug. 24 at 9:00 a.m. (1400 GMT)

REUTERS FORECAST: Median is a deficit of $708 million,
according to a survey of 12 analysts, with a range of a $1.6
billion deficit to a $158 million surplus.

FACTORS TO WATCH: Mexican exports have improved from weak
year-ago levels but U.S. consumers are growing uneasy about the
pace of economic recovery and that is expected to have a
knock-on effect south of the border.

Peso volatility is one reason that analysts have such a
wide range of expectations for the data.
