Quake jolts eastern Japan, no immediate reports of damage

TOKYO (Reuters) – An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.9 jolted eastern Japan on Thursday, national broadcaster NHK said.

There were no immediate reports of damage and no tsunami warning was issued. Numerous aftershocks have been rocking the country following a devastating quake and tsunami on March 11.
