REFILE-Futures point to weaker start for European stocks

LONDON, Jan 27 (BestGrowthStock) – European stock index (Read more about the euro currency recovery. ) futures fell
on Wednesday, pointing to weaker start for equities after U.S.
shares gave up earlier gains to end lower overnight and ahead of
the conclusion of the Federal Reserve’s two-day meeting.

By 0702 GMT, futures for the DJ Euro Stoxx (STXEc1: ),
Germany’s DAX (FDXc1: ) and France’s CAC (FCEc1: ) lost between 0.9
and 1 percent.

The FTSEurofirst 300 (.FTEU3: ) index of leading European
shares rose 0.4 percent on Tuesday, reversing a losing streak
which was the market’s worst sell-off in six months.
